Prayers of Thanksgiving
Psalm 100:4
A- Lord we thank you for making us in your image, loving us and keeping us from evil but for good to come – Gen.1:26, Jeremiah 17:5-8, John 3:16, John 17:15, Psalm 121:3-8.
B- Lord many thanks for being good, kind and patient with us – 2 Peter 3:9-10.
C- Lord thank you for the battle, known and unknown, that you are fighting for us – 2 Cor.10:3-6.
Part II
Prayer of Mercy
Gen.39:21, Exod.20:2-6.
A- Lord have mercy on every one in connection with the Christ Youth Club as Leaders, Members,
Ministers, Lovers or Supporters of CYC.
1 – Forgive us:
a – Forgive us all our iniquities – Matt.24:12, 2 Timothy 2:19.
b – Forgive us all our imperfections – Gen.17:1, Job 25:4-6, Pro.4:18, Phil.3:12-15.
c – Forgive us all our illicit affections [ the lust of eyes & lust of flesh ] – 2 Tim.2:22, 1 John 2:15-17.
2 – Deliver us :
a – Deliver us from the spirits of devils: spirits of errors / spirits of sinning against God – 1 John 4:6, Eph.2:2, Rev.16:13-15.
b – Deliver us from the Powers of devils – Luke 22:53, Colossians 1:13, Rev.16:13-15.
c – Deliver us from the Missions of devils – John 10:10, Rev.16:13-15.
NB: The missions of devils are:
– To steal souls from God [ To take us out of the Light of God ] – Ezekiel 18:4, :Luke 22:31-32.
– To Possess souls [ To kill us ] – Eph.2:1-2, 1 John 3:8, Rev.16:13-15.
– To Make souls devils [ To destroy us ] – Gen.1:26, John 6:70, John 13:2.
3- Breath on us, the Breath of Your Life : Gen.2:7, John 20:22.
a – The Breath of Life of Your Holiness:
– The Breath to abhor evil, to be always against evil, to contradict evil, to detest evil, to eschew evil, to find evil disgusting and to always grieve at evil – Romans 1:4, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, Hebrews 12:10, 2 Pet.1:3-4.|
– The is the Breath of Believing in Holiness, Cleansing of mind and conscience of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, Destroying everything that defiles or that can defile or corrupt- 1 Pet.3:16 & 21, Heb. 13:18, Heb.9:14, 2 Tim.2:21, 1 Tim. 3:9, 2 Cor. 7:1.
b – The Breath of Life of Your Godliness:
– This is the Breath to think, speak and run with the words as God – Num.23:19.
– This is the Breath to believe in righteousness, to do righteously and finish righteously – Number 23:8-10, Isaiah 3:10, Isaiah 54:14-17.
c – The Breath of Life of Your Faithfulness – Deuteronomy 7:9.
– This is the Breath to be reliable – Malachi 3:6, Heb.13:8,
– This is the Breath to be steadfast – Dan.6:26, 1 Cor.15:58, Heb.3:14, 1 Pet.5:8-9, 2 Pet.3:17-18.
– this is the Breath to be trustworthy and unwavering – Psalm 123:1-2.
B- Lord have mercy on every one in connection with the Christ Youth Club as Leaders, Members, Ministers, Lovers or Supporters of CYC.
1 – Bestow on us your Great Grace and Truth – John 1:14-16.
a – To Resist the Devil – James 4:7.
– To reject evil names, evil offers, evil pleasures – Matthew 4:8-10.
– To refuse to do evil, to refuse to compromise, to refuse to be evil – Isaiah 7:14-15.
– To rebuke the devil and all evil doers – Matthew 4:10-11.
– Quench their spirits and Put out their fires – Job 21:17, Prov.24:20, Matt.4:10.
b – To Submit to God – James 4:7.
– To follow His instructions – Psalm 32:8-9, Jere.6:16.
– To humble themselves to fast and to pray –
– To join the Saints of God to please Him by faith and love, serve and worship God – Eph. 1:15-16, John 4:23-24, Matthews 4:10.
c – To Triumph [ to have good success & prosperity ] and Take over in every area of life:
– Spiritual and Ministerial Areas of life – Joshua 1:8
– Professional and Financial Areas of life – Psalm 1:3.
– Professional Area :- Education, Career and Achievements
– Financial Area – Income, Expenses and Outcome.
– Marital and Sociocultural Areas of life – Gen.1:26-28, Psalm 92:12-14.
2 – Distinguish us with your Great Grace and Truth – John 1:17.
3 – Fill us to overflow with Grace and Truth for blessing, covering and deliverance to every one that connects with us – Gen.6:8, Gen.19:
Part III
Prayer of the Family of CYC.
Lord we pray thee in Your infinite mercy for everyone in connection with the Christ Youth Club:
A – Please, glorify us with Yourself for you are the Glory of the Righteous – Gen:1:26, Ps.8:4-5, Rom.3:23, Jn.11:40, Jn.17:20-21,
1- Cover us with Your Glory worldwide – Isaiah 40:5, Zech.2:5.
2- Be Glory in us – Zech.2:5.
B – Please, fight for us – Exod.14:14, 2 Corinthians 19:3-6, Ephesians 6:10-12.
1- Fight against all enemies of Glory, Mission and Saints of God for us – 1 Samuel 4:11, 21-22, Luke 22:31-32.
2- Fight against all diseases and infirmities, including barrenness, for us – Exod.23:25.
3- Fight against all afflictions for us, including poverty, – Exod.3:7-8, Psalm.34:19, Nahum 1:9.
C – Please, elevate us by The Mighty Power of Your Everlasting Arm – Exod.19:4, Deut.28:13, Deut.33:27, Luke 10:10-19.
1- Onto Your Mountain – Psalm 40:1-3.
2- Into Your Presence – Psalm 91:1, Psalm 125:1-2.
3- Above all our Haters, Gates of hell and Foes: – Eph.6:10-12.
– Principalities and Powers,
– Rulers of darkness places and
– Spiritual host of wickedness in the high places.
D – Please, deliver us from evil – Jeremiah 17:13-14.
1- From evil works – Ephesians 5:11, 1 John 3:8.
2- From evil ones – Jeremiah 15:20-21.
3- From evil happenings – Isaiah 63:9, Exod.3:7-8, Gen.39:20-21.
E – Please, Consecrate us – Exod.32:29, Lev.8:33, Ezek.43:26, Heb.7:28.
1- Circumcise our hearts – Deuteronomy 30:6.
2- Cleanse us from all corruptions, deceitfulness, errors, filthiness and guilty of sins – John 17:17, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Eph.4:22.
3- Commit our hearts to love You, to keep Your Words and join Your People to please You in Prayer [ Pro.15:8 ], Service [ Matthew 7:21-23, 2 Timothy 2:19-21] and Worship [ John 4:23-24 ].
F – Please, Bless us and Build us up in every area of our lives – Psalm 1:1-3, Pro.10:22, Heb.3:4.
